From Barcelona to Buenos Aires and back to Madrid. Carpooling, ride-hailing, and trucks. Always logistics and multinational companies. What will be the next stop?

Founded by Martín and Lucas in 2011 (Barcelona), it was conceived with the aim of optimizing daily commutes to work. Having experienced the problem firsthand, and seeing that carpooling was a common practice in Europe, they created a technological platform to easily find coworkers traveling a similar route.

Clients such as Accenture, pwc, Ford, Volkswagen, Santander, Telefónica, SAP, Mercadolibre, BASF and DOW (the list goes on) did not hesitate to join the trend, and promote this socially responsible practice.

SPRINT 2: VTC, Taxi, Motorcycle, van, etc.

In 2015, the platform incorporated ride-hailing and taxi coordination for corporate transfers (supplier/client visits, events, meetings). The aim is to reduce costs by:

  • Travel optimization

  • Automated supplier control

  • And management: having a snapshot of spending to understand which teams/business units have the highest consumption

SPRINT 3: Trucks, trains, ships...

In 2019, all the knowledge acquired was applied to Supply Chain. The logistics involved in the procurement of raw materials and the shipment of finished products present operational and technological challenges where the know-how developed by SincroPool working with corporations can be leveraged.

  • Digitization of processes

  • Integration with ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems from clients such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Navision

  • Route optimization

SincroPool currently operates in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Spain. We are partnered with Wayra, Telefónica's investment vehicle, and have participated in numerous innovation programs such as ICEX, BIND 4.0, and Acció.

Martín and Lucas are not alone; they have a committed team that has been supporting the company's development for years. Their role has been fundamental:

  • Corporate culture: They have influenced the culture and values we have today

  • Product development: They contribute directly to the development and improvement of products by being the first users

  • Team building: They help build a strong and collaborative team from the start.

  • Impact on innovation: They have a crucial role in innovation and strategic decision-making.

  • Initial clients: They help establish relationships with the first clients and obtain important feedback.
